1. Who maintains Solomon Advisors customer's accounts?
Solomon Advisors account's are maintained through E*Trade Financial;confirmations, statements and other reporting services including state-of-the-art computerized record keeping and real-time portfolio updates. By utilizing the investment services of this company, Solomon Advisors is able to devote 100% of their time managing each client's portfolio.
2. How frequently will I receive statements?
All clients will receive statements on a quarterly basis and if there are monthly transactions, the client will receive a monthly statement. Along with account statement, all clients will receive trade confirmations once an order or trade has been executed.
3. What does it cost to work with an investment consultant?
Solomon Advisors is a fee based asset management firm. Our advisors may charge a management fee based on the client’s portfolio size. Hourly rates may apply should a customer have an account elsewhere and requesting an independent advisor's opinion on their investment holdings.Rates begin at $300 per hour.
4. Will I be able to access my account online? All customers will be able to view their account's once the account is established and positions are either transferred in or placed on-line.
5. Are you limited to any products you offer?
One of the benefits of being a smaller, independent firm is that we are not limited to any of the products we offer. Whether it is mutual fund, out-of-state CDs, equities, or tax-free municipal bonds, Solomon Advisors can offer these products to the client at the best possible price along with no-load mutual funds of course.
6. Is there an account minimum?
No, there is no account minimum to work with an investment consultant. Solomon Advisors will recommend a product or portfolio based on the clients objectives and risk tolerance and size of account.
7. How do I open an account?
If you are interested in opening an account, please contact us so that we may better assist you in establishing the type of account and provide you with the correct documentation. A New Account Application is also available here on the website under Open an Account page.
8. Can I transfer my existing account to Solomon Advisors?
Please contact us so that we may provide you with the documentation and/or best strategy for transferring an existing account to Solomon Advisors. An Account Transfer (ACAT’s) document can also be found here on the website and is also located in our Open an Account page.
